The Hobbs Foundation provides long-term investment and capacity-building for non-profit organizations committed to improving outcomes in the lives of at-risk children in the state of Florida. Our grants provide critical resources that address the barriers to school readiness, social and emotional well-being, self-sufficiency and economic mobility. Grant-funding is allocated to targeted program initiatives that support children who are economically disadvantaged and/or involved in the child welfare system.

Through state-wide collaborative partnerships, Hobbs Foundation grantees launch high-quality interventions relevant to critical need in their community, delivering measurable social impact in closing the opportunity gap for underserved children and youth. The focus of our grantmaking policies is to fund organizations by way of direct, evidence-based program enhancements that seek to improve the quality of life for children in need and provide meaningful opportunities that would otherwise be unaffordable.
